The Queen's Hamlet
Palace of Versailles introduces part of the Trianon Gardens, built in 1783 by Queen Marie-Antoinette's architect - Richard Mique.

Historical scale models are a great way to convey to the exhibition visitor a visual experience of urban history.
The visitor can often see on the models, for example, the appearance of the place where his own dwelling stands today and can thus gain another perspective on his residence and the city as well.
Our project strives to connect the European museums and their scale models in one place. We think that such a common platform is useful.
If you or your museum is interested in presenting a scale model of specific city, do not hesitate to contact us.

For a long time it was the seat of a bishopric and even today there is a large Lutheran church with a plaque with the names of all the bishops.
